Terms of Service

1. The service

KCSignPlay lets businesses show pictures and videos on TVs in their stores and manage them online. It includes the website at signplay.thekclegacy.com, the TV player and the KCSignPlay TV app.

KCSignPlay is in an early pilot stage. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it.

2. Who can use it

• You must be at least 18 and use KCSignPlay for a business, not for personal use.
• If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your account

• Keep your password safe and don't share your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including actions by people you add to your team.
• Tell us straight away at support@thekclegacy.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the pictures, videos and other content you upload. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and show it, only as needed to run the service for you (for example, to send it to your TVs).

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it and the way you display it follow the law, including advertising rules and age or licensing rules for products such as tobacco, vaping, alcohol, lottery and fuel prices.

Do not upload content that:

• is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or violent;
• is misleading or deceptive advertising;
• contains viruses or other harmful files.

We may remove content or pause screens that break these rules, or when the law requires it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

• try to access other businesses' data or parts of the service you are not allowed to use;
• test, probe or attack the service's security, or overload it;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service;
• use the service to send spam or for anything illegal.

6. Your TVs and equipment

You provide and are responsible for your TVs, streaming devices (such as a Fire TV Stick or Google TV) and internet connection, and for installing them safely. We are not responsible for damage to equipment, including screen burn-in from content left on screen for long periods.

7. Fees

During the pilot, KCSignPlay is free unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Before any paid plan starts, we will tell you the price and terms in advance, and you will not be charged unless you agree.

8. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using KCSignPlay at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email support@thekclegacy.com.

We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close the service or your account for a reason other than a breach, we will give you reasonable notice so you can save your content.

9. No guarantees

KCSignPlay is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, and we exclude implied warranties.

10. Limit of our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.

11. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses if a claim is made against us because of your content or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Before starting any legal action, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Any court case will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law where you are requires otherwise.
